No, sorry I meant a if someone else has delinquent taxes what would that mean for an investor? Or does it mean nothing…wait if they don’t pay them, can there house be taken?
Yes…the taxing jurisdiction can seize the property for non-payment of taxes…they will then go through all of the required steps and seel the property to settle the tax delinqunecy.
Here in Louisiana, the former ownere has two full years to get the house back by paying all the taxes, interest, and fees…
