A friend of mine out in AZ told me he is invested in a Deed of Trust and is making @ 13% on his investment. Could anybody tell me something about them and how I can get involved in them as well as how to locate them. Thank you.

Didn’t know you could do that. Are you sure they are not buying the note secured by the property??? There are many opportunities for this.

I believe a deed of trust is essentially a mortgage. For instance, Florida uses mortgages and foreclosures are done judicially (in court with a judge). In Maryland, house loans are secured by a Deed of Trust and foreclosures are done by the trustee (a lawyer).
