Wow. Dumb. I wonder if the tenant could sue for slander?

Since the house is in foreclosure, should the bank spray paint deadbeat borrower on the landlord’s home? Or just her credit report.

It’s not slander if it is true. (Or is that libel, because it is a printing of a sort?)

I doubt that the type of tenants who are deadbeats really care. They let the yards look like weed patches and leave dead cars sitting in the driveway and garbage all over the property. They obviously don’t care what the neighbors think.

Look at the tenant’s reasoning “can’t pay rent and still afford to move”, so stays without paying rent and refuses to move. Public opinion is not going to sway this tenant.
