hey guys, as some of you already know i’m getting my hardwood floors done. this past weekend i noticed there was two damp spots as if water was spilled. we checked the pipes below and found nothing. we are confused at why this is happening. (i noticed this two weeks ago, but we assumed it was from wet boxes that were laying there…this however is not the case)
anybody have experience with this or have an insite as to the possible cause? we don’t want the floor guy to do the job until we figure out what the problem is.

Can you actually feel moisture or is it just a dark spot in the wood? I recently had the hardwood floors redone in an 80 year old home, original floors that have been under carpet for at least 30 years. Once we got the glue off we noticed that there were at least three dark spots in the living room. We thought they were moisture spots too but turned out just to be stains that did not come out. i felt moisture on these spots. we think it may* be somethign to do with the air condition but i felt moisture before we had the AC unit serviced. any other feedback is welcome ;]
