I am new to this forum.
I am researching condos in the Dallas area, just wondering what % return can I expect after all govt taxes & expenses. What are the likely expenses and what is HOA, people’s opinion about investing in condos in Dallas. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I was looking at Dallas too, I am looking at Frisco single family home. I think the housing at dallas is very low, are you sure you can get renter for condo? from what I see, a single family home is around 700, apartment is around 500. What do you think the rental for condo will be?
in the north dallas, richardson, plano area, single family homes are much more than$700 per month. in richardson school district area homes are typically $1200 and up for a 2000sf, 3bed, 2 bath. return on investment in condos is not particularily high, and some are having trouble qualifying as insurable loan properties. frisco and mckinney have alot of homes on market, taxes are pretty high.
