While searching online for pre foreclosures I found that there are two types of Lis Pendins.
One is Notice of Lis Pending Filed the other is Notice of Lis Pending Recorded.
My question is what is the difference between the two and which one would be better to use.
I’ve spent some time on the computers at our counties Register of Deeds office. I’ve only seen LP and RLP. Lis Pendens and Release of Lis Pendens…
From the REIClub Glossary: Lis Pendens - Latin for “suit pending”, recorded notice of the filing of a lawsuit, the outcome of which may affect title to real property.
Thank you for the response.

This is why I dont understand the difference between the two. RECORDED notice of the FILING of a lawsuit
Hey,
Never have seen that but, if it is a busy, short handed court house, it may be they simply record that paperwork has been delivered (filed) and then another listing for after everything legal (notification, etc) has been completed and noted. Perhaps? Maybe if you tracked individual entries over time and see if they switched lists or see if you can discern any differences in the paperwork.
Peace,
Richard
