Does anyone here have a company that they would recommend for setting up an s-corp? There are so many out there on the internet but how do you know which one to trust? If anyone has any experience with one please reply. Thanks
i would not trust anyone who is selling something. “kits” “corporate records services” and one-size-fits all systems are a waste of your money. setting up a company takes under an hour and should cost less than $250 plus your state fees. the real work is done in the management agreement and advising you how to run a successful business.
Nolo has some good books on starting and running corporations. They will give you some insight into the process and help you evaluate the work that is being done for you.
