Contruction Lien

I invested in a pre-construction property, and I received notice that one of the sub contractors has filed a construction lien on my property because the builder has failed to pay them.

I can’t sell the property until the lien is paid right? What do I need to do to rectify this? Should I talk to a real estate lawyer?

You should withhold final payment until the builder confirms all subs have been paid and have releases from them. In your case, you pay the sub and get a release. Then, go after the builder. Legally, you are on the hook to the sub.
