Hi all,
Other than the ones I have listed below, what contingency clauses should be in the contract when making an offer to purchase a property?
- Appraisal
- Financing approval
- Inspection (home and pest)
Also, is there a “search” feature on this website? I could not find one.
Thanks.
Bill
You can make a contract contingent on anything…however the more far-fetched, the less likely that it will be accepted.
Common ones are:
- Sale of an existing home
- Successful closing of an existing home that is “Sold”…
- Approval by a “partner”
- Completion of specified repairs by the seller
I’m sure others can add…
