When it comes to a nice home in a not so nice area, say a 80k home in a 40-60k neighborhood. When figuring the market value would it be the highest of the niegborhood range, 60k? I know i wouldn’t buy a nice home in a borderland area. TIA :eek2:

It’s just my two-cents, but I always comp the property at the max value of the area. If possible, it’s generally not a good idea to buy the nicest property on the block unless the numbers tell you the profit is there.
