Commercial Books

I am a newbie, and I was wondering which books out there has the most bang for the buck in Commercial RealEstate. I already have 2 of Dave Lindahls books. Very informational just wanted to see if anyone else is worth reading. Thankyou for your time and knowledge.

The A B C[s Of Real Estate Investing by Ken Mc Elroy (an advisor to Kiyosaki) it’s a very good book.

Lindahl’s material is comprehensive and complete. I would suggest start investing…make offers, speak with sellers, inspect properties, ask questions, refer back to existing books. There is no better learning than by doing! Take action!! Then you will graduate from being a ‘newbie’ to an investor.

a very good book is Commercial Realestate Investing In Canada, althought it is with canadian laws i’m sure it will work well in the states

ABC’s of Real Estate by Ken McAroy(I prefer the audio CD), Steve Burges called Buying and Selling APTS and Monica Main’s course which is inexpensive compared to others who sell the same info, and of course a YouTube education can’t hurt either…

As a foundational text, I would recommend “Commercial Real Estate Analysis and Investments” by David Geltner and Norman G. Miller for anyone considering the Commercial market. I have used it frequently since 2001 and I have been in the business since 1972.

I just bought Commercial RE Investing for Dummies by Peter Conti.Haven’t started reading it yet but according to Amazon readers it’s better than others and so I have this question???
Hi,Chad from Texas here… I was curious I hear about alot of people getting into rentals and commercial realestate.ie apts buildings. They all say with no money down and what not .How is this possible and is it really that easy?
I know where to find properties just how do you get the funding or what everyone calls a proof of funds letter.I really would like to be the owner, not landlord and have the money come in and buy other apts buildings down the road… Any help would be great.
Cause God Knows how our government is going down hill quicklyand people still need to rent a place if they can’t buy it… Thnx again…
