I am interested in investing and I’m kinda lost as to which is the best way to begin. I am interested in investing in an area where some lower to mid bread and butter properties can be had for the 50;s and above. I have thought of being a “cash” buyer on a reo or preforeclosure for a good price and then flipping it quickly. Is this a solid way to go or no?
The art is in finding the deals. If you let others know you have money deals will come to you. Imagine what lottery winners have to put up with. Perhaps most are asking for handouts but I am sure a lot of good deals can be made if you have money.
Your only question is to narrow down what area and type of deals you want to do. You can buy for cash and fix and resell or just get under contract and flip the contract or buy by bringing preforeclosures current and then reselling. The more cash at risk the greater the profit should be. I too like bread and butter deals because there are more people looking even though a lot may not be qualified.
I hope this helps a little.
