Yes, I do this all the time.
If I was the negotiator I wouldn’t pay it, but that’s me. My management has cracked down recently wanting more description for closing costs we’re pushing through and I’ve had to list where realtor commissions or loss mit fees are going.
You’d be amazed on the stuff some people try to pad the HUD/net sheet with.
