Classifieds VS. Print Ads

I’m trying to figure which is the most cost effective. It seems as though print ads are 6 times more expensive than print ads. Do print ads work much better than classifieds? My budget for print adds is pretty low ($500 a month). I’m spending $1000 a month on direct mail and just want to expand my advertising.

Increase your search engine rankings,… you’ll consistently increase business for years to come, unlike advertising that ends when your money runs out…

Direct mail is good, but if you’re spending a $1,000 a month on direct mail… you might as well contribute say $200- a month towards organic seo… you’ll see a much higher ROI if you are patient…

I’d just stick w/ contextual PPC ads. You might consider running on Google’s content network.

Direct mail (primarily postcards) and door to door marketing like sticky notes or flyers have been the most effective, consistent and scalable marketing I’ve done to buy properties.

I understand the desire to diversify though.

I have not been happy with the results I’ve gotten from newspaper ads so I stopped doing it years ago.

Hope that helps.

Sincerely,

James
