Hello. I am starting to invest in the Salem-Keizer Oregon area, and here’s how I have been doing it. I am getting up to date foreclosure lists and for sale by owners in the local paper. After gathering the info, I send out a letter to each and every prospect. Also, I knock on doors when I can. What do some of you experienced investors think of this method. I have’nt got many leads however I have only sent 25 or so. My plan is to send a hundred or more, then re-evaluate the success rate from there. One other question: As an investor why would I sell to another investor? If he/she knows what I know, where is the profit margin in that? Thanks, J
