Carpet Panels 24" X 24" - Good or Bad

I am rehabbing a SFH. Lowes has 24" X 24’’ carpet panels. They look easy. Also with rentals it seems like if a tenant damages an area, all you have to do is pull out a 1 or 2 sections. That’s better then replacing the whole room.

Description:
-Create your own look mixing colors & borders
-Pad attached to each carpet panel for added comfort
-Easy to install
-No glue needed
-Antimicrobial treated
-Scotchgard soil and stain protection
-10-year wear warranty
-Damage areas fast & easy to replace
-10-24" x 24" carpet panels per carton
-Easy to transport
-Has its own moisture barrier

Any opinions?

I am using carpet pads in one of my rentals. They are easy to maintain and don’t look bad at all. They arent for higher end homes, but for your average SFH.

But it also depends on the homes style and the actual carpet style.
