Has anyone ever had their entire car wrapped with a I buy Houses type message? I was thinking of doing this as its much more visible than a magnet. And when its parked anywhere, very eyecatching.
Any companies, prices to recommend? Also, does the stuff damage your car?
Thanks!
There’s one mini-pickup with a camper shell that has it wrapped in my area. It does stand out but I don’t know how good it works. My opinion is you can’t tell enough people in as many ways as you can. The problem for most people in this business is not getting too many leads, it’s not getting enough.
After pricing wraps and vinyl lettering, we’re going with a combo of the two - a partial wrap on the sides of the vehicle (not windows) and vinyl lettering/graphic on the rear window. We have a logo, mascot, web site, and a killer 800 number so, fortunately, these things lend well to something more than a car magnet.
Wraps priced at about $11 per sq. ft. on the body of the car and $18 per sq. ft. on the windows (we’re saving $$ by avoiding the windows). Besides, the wrap makes windows darker to see out of, and ours are already tinted. Vinyl lettering/graphics are much less expensive than a wrap.
p.s. a quote to wrap a Chevy Tracker (small suv) entirely - windows and all - came to $2,500 including labor. Yikes! :o Maybe some day!
Also, I recently saw a small suv (Ford Explorer??) wrapped entirely by a local Homevestor’s franchise (competitor!). I’ve got to admit, it looked fantastic!
You must have a graphic designer complete the layout, however. Either the wrap company will offer this service or they can send a schematic + measurements of the car to your graphics person.
