Is it possible to make a Lease Option to Buy offer on a short sale? Will the bank/mortgage holder consider such an offer?
Banks want a cash offer. They would not wait for the L/O to exercised.

I can’t imagine a lender taking such an offer seriously. You’re asking a bank to become a landlord in the hopes that they will sell their asset in the years to come??? Is there someone out there telling investors this is possible?
