My bankruptcy attorney was very quick to get my paper work in for chapter 13 and said that I wasn’t eligible for chapter 7. I have over 56k in debt and I was the only one filing not my husband. I paid the plan payment of $600.00 a month since April. In October I still was not confirmed and they wanted me to pay $1330. a month for the plan payment. If I could afford to pay $1330.00 a month then I really didn’t need to claim bankruptcy right?

but you may have trouble finding an attorney to take your case.
you would certainly have to put up a retainer.
Also did you sign a liability waiver where they are not responsible for any errors? That makes it just a little harder.
