Can anyone tell me if I can use my own sale contract for short sale in CALI?

Or, do I use EPA (Equity Purchase Agreement) in stead of sale contract?
I was advised to use EPA in stead of “sales contract”, BUT short sale is for properties with no equity. It does not make sense to me. Any one clarify this for me?

I have never used one… for that matter I have never heard of anyone else using one either. But that’s not to say it’s not possible. I would say that any contract that achieves the purpose in which it is meant would be acceptable.

I would be interested to hear from anyone else who may use or has used EPA’s as contracts. Feed back anyone??
