Can anyone give me a review of this....

Hey,

I have been thinking of doing this real estate training program which is taught by Trump university, while I save up for a year before I start my investing. Doing this course would put me back two months, of the figure in my head I want to start with for my investing.

Here is the link http://www.trumpuniversity.com/realestate/investment-training-program.cfm. I feel this would give me a platform of education for real restate investing and help more than just reading a few books inless thats just the salesman who got me. Any reviews would be much appreicated.

Thanks

Save your money for your first deal. Don’t let fear trap you into not getting started. I went from not knowing what REI meant to submitting my first offer in 3 months. Got my first property a couple weeks later. I’d suggest reading a few books to get acclimated, joining your local REI club to network, and after you feel like you know enough about your niche, then start doing it.

A year? WAY too long.

I read the course outline at the link you posted. I don’t think there is anything in the paid course that you can’t get for free in the discussion forums at this site.

I suggest you save you money for your investments and start your education here in the discussion forums.

If you have absolutely no real estate knowledge, and having a course would make you feel more confident and secure, then go to ebay and buy the Carleton Sheets No Money Down home study course. It will give you a beginner’s orientation to real estate and make you a little more comfortable with the terminology and investing techniques discussed in the forums.

I totally agree. I know you’re anxious but just spend a couple of hours here and look around and ask questions. You will get the straight answer without all of the fluff.

I agree too. Most of those big seminars are designed to make you feel good about your idea of getting involved in real estate, which is important, however they usually don’t provide the step by step advice that you need to make the biz work.

The best place to start is at your local real estate investors association, there you’ll get access to all of the training that you’ll need to get started for a heck of a lot less than Trump. You’ll also have training that is tailored to your market, and access to other seasoned investors in your area that will help you succeed.

Expect it to take a couple of years before you are really successful, so don’t rush into it spending big money on motivational training.

Google your area and look for real estate investment club and start there. I hate to see people just getting started spend thousands of dollars and not even have one deal under their belt
