I have found a nice piece of land in the middle of a nice neighborhood. I’m assuming it is owned by government. Ultimately, I want to build a home on this piece of land. Who do I contact to find out the price? Someone at the County courthouse?

The city’s Assessor’s Office.

If the city isnt stuck in the stone ages you should be able to find a list of city owned houses and lots on their website.
