Building Out of state buyer's list

I’m wondering if I should be building a list of out of state buyers even though I focus on buying in my area?

Buyers are buyers regardless but make sure they deal out of state.

I listened to a very motivating wholesaler, Bob Norton, speak. He was in Michigan and had most of his buyers come from CA. It can be a little more work to get the and to deal with them but as the poster above said a buyer is a buyer.
