I’m just getting started in wholesaling and I was wondering what methods other investors use to build their database of buyers to assign the contract too.
1.Advertise on free sites like craigslist
2.Advertise doing direct mail
3.Your local REI club
4.Your own lead generation website
networking - letting everyone know that you have houses for sale
Write down the phone numbers on all bandit signs that say “We Buy Houses” and call them.
Ask if they will buy from a wholesaler.
One last thing, give it time. Have an expectation that it will take 3-5 years to get a good understanding of the biz and to really get going. Yes you’ll have some success in between that time, but there is a learning curve that you have to work your way thru. The buyers list will build up as you continue to grow.
