What is different between BPO and ARV if any?

BPO or Broker Price Opinion is a Broker who goes into a home to evaluate and assess the value of the home (or AS IS value) hired by the foreclosing lender

  • ARV is the After Repair Value - mostly used on homes that are in need of repairs.

Example

House needs 30k in repairs
AS Is Value is 100k
ARV is 150k (comp sold homes in better shape)
