I have two precon homes under contract in the Boise area. From the information that I have gathered, the market is booming. DOM is a matter of hours in most cases (new construction flips)
Prices in the development that I bought into are appreciating, in some cases, $10K every 15 days.
I’d like to hear what others are experiencing in the area.
I have actually been meaning to look into Boise. I have heard they have great job growth and a lot of people are buying there. Are they still allowing investors to buy pre-construction there without rental or early sale restrictions?
I’ll have to pass on your home in Boise, though I am sure that it will sell quick considering the conditions there. I currently have 9 other homes under contract 6 of which are in the SLC, UT area. SLC is begining to boom also and I feel that there is also huge potential there.
i have 4 homes in SLC and 7 more under contract in utah.
4 more under contract in boise.
i agree that SLC is a good place to be too! i’m about to close on my 5th home
in utah and already got a renter lined up! now if i can only do something about
my 4th home! its been vacant for 3 whole weeks!
Hi, I am new to the forum I sale real estate in Pocatello Idaho. I agree with nor-calREI Houses arent lasting more than a day on the market. I see this lasting another couple of years before things die down. Also in my area Pocatello (south east idaho) things here are starting to take off home prices this summer were up 10% from last (using a comparison of june-september 04 and june-september 05). Although things arent selling in a day they are selling in a 60 day time period. I believe it is a good area for rental properties if you are looking to hold on to the property for a few years. Check out the newsweek article on Pocatello ID? ;D
