Beginner question!

I understand that having a real estate attorney and a CPA would enable me buying rental properties by my self, but do I still need a realtor? How can I find out the following without having to work with a realtor?

  1. Listing of rental properties (I know I can get some from classifieds, but they are limited)
  2. Market analysis - property value/sales data/appreciation
  3. Rental analysis - potential rent/future of the area and such…

I just can’t justify giving away 3% realtor commission, I wish there is an easier way to get these info. How do you pros do these?? Many thanks in advance.

The seller is paying the commission. You are not giving anything away.
