This is just the normal course of business in the US. Anytime someone loses money their will be a law firm there seeking to represent them and protect their interests. Like the article says the plaintiffs will have a tough time winning the case as the funds were marketed directly to sophisticated investors. It will be interesting to watch how it all falls out.
