bandit sign question

first: i want to thank all for your help on my questions.

my question:
i know bandit signs are probably better put in neighborhoods rather than on main streets, but doesn’t the street areas in neighborhoods where you put the signs belong to the homeowners, most of the neighborhoods don’t have sidewalks, just grass down to the street.

i have approximately 40 signs remaining and would really like advise as to where to put them for most effectiveness

again, thank you all for your help.

the little guy following this is what i feel like.

Bandit Signs are a great way to advertise your services. I have posted signs on fences along with commercial signs in my neighborhood and I make it a point to stay away from residential areas. I like to post signs on major streets where they will be seen by drivers passing by. I make it a point to make the signs colorful and in various shapes and sizes so that they stand out. In residential areas I mail advertisement in greeting card size and I will often include a free gift … this form of advertising will get noticed and opened because it is informal.

In doing both of the above I have received phone calls almost immediately and have successfully contracted a few homes for submissions into my investors network.

There is a lot more on bandit signs in the marketing forum and I must mention that I have received a lot of dirty phone calls when I put one up in their yard. If you’re losing many just put them up and take them down on weekends. For weekends try close by churches, shopping centers and sporting events. Herbster

I think your best bet is to post them on commercial avenues only because you will get much more traffic passing by them… i would also post them near stop signs or at lights because people can really only see these signs going at slow speeds… signs have always been the best bang for my advertising dollar… you can’t go wrong… good luck hunting…
