Hey everyone. How important when filling out an Assignment to Contract is it to get half of the fee up front as a deposit? Also all the forms that everyone talks about doesn’t have that in there Assignment forms. Can anyone shed some light on this?
I think it is to help protect yourself. The buyer now has additional reason to close or he will lose his deposit since you probably would lose yours if you could’t close on the property
