Assignment Fees?

Hey guys, my names Dylan and I have a question about assignment fees.

When I find a property, put it under contract and sell it to my end buyer 60-70 cents on the dollar ARV -repairs what percentage is the norm I should make? I far can I stretch it?

I am gonna say it’s not really % per say, more of a range. It also depends on how much of a discount the deal is. If there’s enough play room in the deal for the buyer to “flip” the deal and make a decent profit, that has a major effect on your assign fee. Keep in mind, the buyer may haggle with you on the fee - just make sure it’s a fee you would be willing to live with. I would start out between $4k to $9k, and go from there. You don’t wanna go to low or too high either, or you could loose the buyer.

I hope this helps you. :smile

Whatever you See fit, and his still a discount for your buyer. time is also a contributing factor in this business. You may get $5000 for waiting 2 to 3 months for that right cash buyer. Or you can get it $2500 and three days if you get off of the house now. This is what I mean by whatever you see fit. :biggrin
