I meet with a attorney, who stated assigning a contract is illegal and I should stay away from short sales. If I wanted to wholesale a property in the state of NJ. I would have to set up a property management company and charge a management fee. Also all parties would have to be aware of what I was doing.
I’m going to get a second opinion, but if there is anyone who can give me some insight it will be appreciated.
Is this some :bs
All parties should know and contracts are assigned all the time. Things may be diff. in NJ but I doubt it. Seek that second opinion. OH your right :bs Herbster
That is totally incorrect I’m in NJ as well and i am a active real estate agent here and in NJ it is legal to assign a contract as long as EVERYTHING is disclosed. I think you should speak to a different lawyer…
