Are there any true legit Mentors out there ???????????

I am very interested in starting Real estate investing and looking for a true mentor I live in florida and any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated .

Hello,
Posting on an internet forum is not a great way to find a mentor. Attend several different LOCAL real estate club meetings and network with the active investors in those groups. They can probably point you in the right direction. Take care.

As with anything, there are good, and not so good, programs out there… and unfortunately some that just keep tapping you for more money. I’ve paid a few thousand for different training courses, but finally found a really great one. You can private message me and I can share with you. As with anything, the most important factor is your willingness to learn and follow a system!
Best of luck!!

hi my name is Thomas Lewis I’m really looking for a good program to get me going in the right direction also also spent about 4000 on other training the last 4yrs no deal yet can you please help me. :help

Where are you and what do you want to do?

Yes, pursue your local REI Club. Log on to REIClub.com and search for REI Clubs in your vicinity.

Umm, isn’t that where we are now? :rolleyes

Perhaps if you read some of the postings on this site, you will discover many credible mentors. The question of “is there credible students with the courage to take mentoring and action,” comes to mind. There are more talkers than doers in this world.

Until you find the right mentor, you can buy some books on the methods you are interested in, follow what they did successfully, and you will likely follow with similar success.

Problem is most people want everything just right and in place before they begin to take action. I prefer to take action, along with calculated risks and some education, then keep moving forward making choices and decisions…shoot for 51% accuracy in your decisions and you are moving in the right direction.

Taking action is of paramount importance! If you do small deals and make a mistake, learn from it and keep moving forward…remember 51% or better and you are winning. Eventually, you will build a winning formula and reach your goals.

Indecision will bring you to your knees. Take action, along with discernment, a game plan, and strong management and you will be fine.

Hope this helps.
