Can someone give me a rough estimate of what it might cost to get 2 4-plexes appraised? I’m in Baton Rouge, LA if it makes any difference.
I would guess that they’re a little more than SFR…here (in NW Louisiana), an appraisal on a SFR is $250-275 so a multi-unit will probably run between $300-400.
I would call a couple of appraisers and ask them. A good mortgage lender and a good Realtor would probably know, too - they deal with them all the time.
