Anyone here that owns self storage units? Any money in them? My mom had a small one that was like $120/month so I figure people have to be making money with them since their costs are probably negligible to keep them going.

I can only tell you from the lending side of Storage (especially self storage) that it is one of the hottest lending markets right now.
It is one of the most active lending sectors right now.
A lot of it is with existing storage companies expanding and doing refi’s to get cash out to open another location.
That’s all I can tell you.
