I WOULD LIKE TO GET IN REI AND WOULD LIKE TO CHAT WITH INVESTORS IN CONNECTIUT. I’M IN THE HARTFORD AREA OF CT.
Strange that this should come up today I just hung up the phone with a great lady in your area she runs a REI club out that way…
If I lived in that area I would even go check it out!
Connecticut Real Estate Investors & Apartment Owners Association
I’m a former student a CT college and I’m looking to begin investing as well. I have a couple meetings with real estate agents all over CT this weekend to find a couple homes.
Hey Auggflo,
I’m a newbie and have been studying my a** off for the past 3-months on foreclosures, pre-foreclosures and short sales. I have joined CTREIA and have gained invaluable information from all walks of this business, just by going & interacting at their monthly meeting. Their I have met 5-HML that will finance any good deal I bring them. Here in CT some counties have gone up in appreciation as high as 43%…WOOHOO! Anyway enough about me…Please visit www.ctreia.com just as REO put in his comment. I suggest you call Joanne in the West Hartford office and she’ll answer any questions you may have, the meeting is held every 3rd Monday of the month in the Radisson Hotel in Cromwell. :)Remember…no-one ever achieved a goal by being interested in it’s achievement…one must be committed!

I am a newer Connecticut Real Estate Investor. East of the River in Manchester.
I knew nothing about real estate 18 months ago.
I was sitting on my fat a^& watching the TV when the Carelton Sheets infomercial came on. IT was 20 bucks to try the program so I tried it.
(This is not an advertisement. It’s my story.)
6 weeks after I opened the course, I had my first no money down property. 12 months later I had 9 properties for me, 2 for my sister and 3 for my friend. Once I did a few deals, it seemed like others just fell in my lap.
I’ve had owners finance me at 90%. I’ve had little old ladies let me use their equity lines to finance my DP and CC. All thanks to the course.
After 4 properties I got tired of paying commissions to a broker so I got my RE license and now I get commissions on anything I buy or sell for myself, friends and family.
After 15 months of investing I was featured in the Carelton Sheets newsletter.
I am not rich, … yet. Probably won’t be for awhile. But I am, doing well, and love what I do and that is so important. I have a lot to learn and still have fears to overcome about risk and investing.
I just did my first rehab and flip, made about 7k in two months on a condo. I am working on my 2nd rehab right now.
There are opportunities here in CT. I am proof.
Good luck. Let me know if I can help.
Regards,
Jeff
