Anyone has experience dealing with WAMU? We submitted the SS package for two properties about two weeks ago. But so far no response? Any input is appreciated.
I’ve dealt with WAMU; however, I’m in the OR and WA area. Though my license is good in CA we have had a problem with them in that state. What is a ss packgage?
No dealings with WAMU but what I do know is that you need to call them. If you sit around waiting for them to get back to you, you might be waiting until after the auction. Many of these reps take a ‘out of sight out of mind attitude’.
Some lenders can take over a month just to assign the case to a rep. And this rep may or may not call you.
First off you need to call and confirm that they even received the fax. I can not tell you the number of times the lender claimed they did not receive this doc or that doc. Or I sent it to the wrong fax number. Then find out what there proceedures and time frames are. Then if it warrants call a couple of times a week to check on the progress and offer additional information.

I am really concerned how long they take to move things?
I just got done dealign with foreclosure from WAMU who they gave to Homeq for debt collection. So I actually dealt with Homeq even though it was a WAMU loan. It was the worst experience ever. Those people are the most incompetant I have ever dealt with.
