If there’s anybody out there raise your hand!! ;D

Anybody in Buffalo??Yes. I'm pretty sure I've seen people in Buffalo. :P
Nice.
Maybe I should have clarified.
I 'm wondering if there is anybody in Buffalo that frequents these forums & has experience & knowledge in regards to REI. This person may if he/she so choses, receive a free coffee from tim horton’s & some lively conversation from a gregarious someone I know with a sparkling & positive attitude, (me ;)).
I have found that there are (2) REI Clubs in the area from this wonderful website, but I’m also looking for some one-on-one interaction, (not that kind, I’m happily married you perverts! :P), with someone who has been or is successful in REI to show me the ropes.
Thanks again,
DSCWMitchell
What, nobody likes tim horton’s?
Who’s “tim horton”…??
Must be a Buffalo thing…
Keith
It’s a Canadian thing. You wouldn’t understand.
Wait a minute I’m from Texas & I get it, & I’m not that smart, so maybe you would get it. It’s similar to Dunkin’ Donuts except the coffee’s a lot better & they make a mean chili bowl.
Go to http://www.timhortons.com/en/index.html for more information.
Just look at that chili bowl, it’s just not the same as having it in person, though.

You think there’s a branch on Colorado’s Western Slope?
Maybe you should offer to buy a chili (or is it “chilly”) lunch instead of coffee…
I’d help you out but the commute would kill me!

Looks like the closest one in the US is in Flint, MI. http://web.sa.mapquest.com/timhortons/advantage.adp?transaction=search&county=&country=US&radius=10&units=mi&pwidth=400&pheight=324&maxsearchresults=100&address=&city=flint&stateProvince=MI&postalCode=&searchradius=10mi&x=0&y=0
However, you could go north to Estevan, Saskatchewan & try it there.
I bet the people in Plentywood, WY & Crosby, ND go over the border for it all the time. ;D
Definitely worth the trip. I recommend the French Vanilla Cappucino & the aforementioned chili bowl. Mmmmm Mmmmm Good!!

Well, apparently there are a few of us here in the great metropolis of Buffalo that are interested or already involved in REI. Just for anybody & everybody’s information it looks like we’ll have about half a dozen people meeting to discuss our plans with REI & share information about what we know & what we’d like to know.
Anyways to the point of this post -
This is an open invitation to anybody else on this forum in the area to come meet with us, have some good coffee & (hopefully) good, positive & constructive conversation about getting started in REI.
We will meet at the tim horton’s on Maple road in Amherst ([link=http://maps.google.com/maps?oi=map&q=870+Maple+Road,+Williamsville,+NY]870 Maple[/link]) @ 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2006.
Feel free to come by & have some good coffee & be prepared for good discussion about starting up in REI. We’ll see if we can get a gameplan together that will be a win-win situation for everybody involved in our REI dealings, (buyer, seller, investor, client, tenant, etc.), see if we can make some money together & give tips about how we do it or plan to do it.
Bring a notebook &/or you’re business cards if you have some.
Hope to see you there!!
Cliff
I will be there! heard it was snowing though. gotta love Buffalo.
