Any commercial investors comment on tenant relations compared to single family?

It appears to me from my personal experience handling relations between my employer and our property owners, that commercial tenants appear to be more “professional” than single family renters. That is my feeling but I was curious if any person on here has experience with single family and commercial tenants - such as small retail or warehouse. I could not picture a business missing payments, unless they are going under, but that has to be less common than single family. I also do not see businesses that do leave, destroying the property and/or calling you every other day about petty issues - especially with multifamily.
Any commercial investors comment on this?

Hi,

When it's "Residential" it's personal, when it's "Commercial" it's just business!

It does consist of different point of views and maybe rules as well but as residential properties are included, relationship may be different in terms of landlord-tenants but when it comes to commercial properties which may include huge business then there is a huge different in terms of professional relationships.

As someone else said, a residence is personal so it can be more emotional.

On the flip side a commercial tenant can be more used to negotiating or using the courts.
