Here’s another newbie question we’re dealing with. We have someone who is interested in lease-purchasing their townhouse. We have a very motivated tenant-buyer. The seller wants us to talk with their agent about the whole lease-purchase option. This doesn’t sound like a winning situation to me. Obviously the agent will want the highest price. Any advice on this? Should we even bother with it?
Too many cooks in the kitchen. I can tell you from experience that the deal will fall apart when that Realtor gets in the middle. Deal direct with homeowners and your life will be infinitely easier.
