CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME AN IDEA OTHER THAN SECTION 8 TO RENT MY PROPERTY. WHILE LIVING IN OHIO PEOPLE WERE RENTING OUT THEIR PROPERTY TO PEOPLE THAT NEEDED MINIMUM HELP .I HOWEVER CAN NOT REMBER AN AGENCY THAT DOES THIS .PLEASE HELP.
ALTERNATIVE WAYS TO RENT OUT MY PROPERTY OTHER THAN SECTION 8 OR THE TRADITIONAL
I was having trouble selling a rehabed property and didn’t want to pay utilities etc. all winter. I used my real estate agent who also has a rental property business (that is why I used him because he could help me in two ways both with real estate transactions and with rental experience. He said he would charge me half of the first months rent to find me a qualified renter. He would do a credit check, let me interview qualified candidates, then he would collect the deposit and first months rent for me. It ended up that the renters decided to buy my property when they saw that the amount of rent they were going to pay vs. the payment if they purchase it.
