it seems to involve a broad range, from life insurance to marriage settlement.
I understand its a way to gain control of a property, cloud title (intentionally), and then resell AS the owner avoiding title seasoning issues etc.
New technique recently developed & tested in the N.E. and it works (legal). A way around the stone-walling the end-buyer’s lender gives you when you try to do an assignment of contract, double w/o land trust, or sub-2. Of course not much of an issue when end-buyer is another investor.
