a very young investor

Well I am 17 I have currently 0 dollars I have a passion to learn all that I can about real estate and as such I have been reading as much about it online and in librarys that I can. What I have to ask of all of you is your thoughts, storys, advice. What would you have done, what would you do if you were in my situation.

some stats about me:
Currently do not have a job(will have one by nov 1st the latest)
Do not have a credit card(Will have one right after I get a job)
I have about 450 dollars saved cash
I know their are a great many options the problem is their is so many i dont know where I should go.
I am a senior in highschool
I dont want to go to college but if I must it will be to community probably for an associates degree simply to get a license in something surrounding real estate, contracters license, inspectors license, re brokers license
What I need is to find a way to get hard money I have a year and if im going to college my parents will support me so thats more like two years.
I am willing to commit like hell and I do ean like hell I have been told by a great many people that real estate isnt fun its a head ache my reply is so is a normal job and a normal job dosent give me the chance to achieve my dreams.
I am not by any means looking for a miracle to get rich quick I am looking for guidance because I know that opportunity for me in real estate is out their I believe this is the field thats going to get me the furthest in life and this is the path I choose.
I am into buisness and creating companies and such I love to be innovative, I have the entrepenuerial spirit thats for sure.

So it sounds like what’s next for you is to get a job and keep learning about RE.

Because you already know what you want to do, don’t waste your time with some BS job at McDonald’s. Try to do something (anything) at an investment firm, RE brokerage or even a hard money lender. You could be an office assistant or something like it.

If you really have a burning entrepreneurial spirit then start a business now! Team up with someone you know who is atleast 18 and create a legitimate business entity. There is all kinds of crap you can sell online or to your peers. Anything but drugs. Find a wholesaler who is also a dropshipper. I’m sure you know of people who can design websites.

There is an abundance of resources available to learning about RE and all other businesses, absorb it all. Your already ahead of most people twice your age.

dannythegreat I spent a good month looking for good wholesalers or dropshippers and found none, any leads/tips/advice on finding one?

If your into selling products online I’ll PM you a couple links for wholesaler directories along with some other info. If you know someone who builds websites and won’t charge you anything upfront, you can reasonably start it for $200-300. We’re getting too far off of RE now so PM inbound.
