We need to ban knives…that’s the liberal answer for guns.

…and, it’s now “Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives”…where I’m from, that’s a convenience store.

Or place a waiting period on buying a knife along with a limit of one new knife each month and knife registration. Of course, we’d definitely want to tax each knife and institute an assault knife ban for any knife with a serrated edge!
