I found some notices of foreclosure leads on my county website and the notices say that the auction will be held on October 2nd, are these leads too far gone in the foreclosure process for me to negotiate a short sale and stop the foreclosure?
It’s worth a try. One would think a bank is willing to listen to anyone who’s willing to help them recoup some of their investment. A reasonable short sale is likely to net them more than auctioning the property in this market, anyway. Let us know how it turns out.
