My mother inlaw is moving to FL in about 2 yrs. Her house is just about finished down there. She has a 2 family house in NY worth a little over 300k. What would be the best way to take the house off her hands with a positive cash flow for me? Her intentions was to sell the house and split the profits with my wife. my wife’s brother, and keep a little something for herself for FL. I’ve been staying there because I work in NY but I also have a house in PA. Commuting everyday is not the move…lol
