Bush’s problem in history is not that his policies did not increase revenues every year while in office due to the tax cuts “for the rich”, it was that the SPENDING increased with no check… and the republican led congress for the first six years, and democrat controlled congress the following 2 years FAILED in their fiscal role. The President doesn’t write the checks, Congress does… therefore, more accurately, it was CONGRESS, of both parties, that once again demonstrated utter and “complete incompetence”…
