I’m always learning something new everyday on here that’s why. An sure by the way you spoke your just in it ( investing ) for yourself. That’s ok to because you what I’d like to call a “fall guy” you take all the real big hits an i’m sure you make profit’s every once an a while at somebody’s expence an turn a round and have nothing to show for. I feel sorry for you.

Absolutely I am investing in real estate for myself and my family. I do plenty of other charity work, like being a board member of my local Habitat for Humanity. Real Estate investing is just like any other business, it’s about making money. Your profits will always be at someone else’s expense. Whether you sell a pack of gum or a 3 bed 2 bath home. You know nothing about me so don’t pretend to. I live in a very modest house, 910 sq ft. Been here 12 years. I live with my wife and daughter. Two used cars, no fancy other toys so yes I have nothing to show for it. Until you consider my long term real estate holdings. It’s all about perspective my friend. I am 37 and will comfortably retire at the age of 52 because of real estate investing. I’m okay with that. Mike(Property Manager) is semi-retired and I KNOW he is in it for the money. So yes , why get into it unless you want to make money? Don’t patronize all of us.

No just you, besides i live well above my needs thanks to my farther.

If you are living it up on family money…why even bother with the hard work of real estate investing?

He doesn’t have a clue. Go back to the original question in the thread. What is he doing asking for money if he has a rich dad to take care of him.

If you would have read my answers, you would have seen that I wasn’t asking for money but jus to be preapproved for a loan. Because i’m not going to ask my farther for help if I don’t need it.

THIS is very good to want to stand on your own

But if you want total truth and help on this form you need to let us know all the facts on a deal as you know them

Knowing you have the easy back up will in my thoughts not make you work as hard on all the ways you can get things done in real estate

I would hate to see you or any one have a easy way out in this business as you will not work as hard on deals

JUst my thoughts i think you should go at this business as if you have no back up
