But what’s interesting here is, what if I wanted to buy the note for my own portfolio and then resell it? I wouldn’t consider that brokering.
I agree with Jimbo, stupid people ask for stupid laws - and we all suffer for it.

I would suggest buying Russ Dalbey’s course on buying/selling notes. You can find his course on America’s Note Network (http://www.witcfb.com/).
It will give you a basic introduction to how to find/buy/sell notes, it really is an informative course. Now, how you apply that and how far you want to go with it is completely up to you.
Email me if you have questions.

Does anybody have any kind of info on Charter Financials program?
All I could find was the website: http://charternotes.com/
But I know anybody can do better by buying/selling notes on their own.

Hi,
I have bought charter financials note program…Its good if you are beginner…
I was at the time…and they do the whole deal for you…all you have to do is find the noteholder and get your quote. That is it. they gather all peperwork, or you can .its up to you…
I HAVE PURCHASED COURSES FROM CHARTER FINANCIAL AND RUSS

(JUST GOT THE LAST ONE ON WED).I ALSO SUBSCRIBED TO TWO OTHER SOURCES THAT PROVIDED ME WITH A FREE COURSE BY EMAIL.BOTTOM LINE , I THINK I AM READY TO START BUYING NOTES.

HI ,
Hi tracy,
the courses are very straight fwrd…I have both courses as well.
I have plenty of funding sources available to work with to…
But the way this business work, sometimes the deal can be hard to close because each investor look at different things…If I cannot fund one I will be more than happy to refer it to you…maybe you can fund it…we’ll just have to go 50/50 on it. If this is ok with you please let me know. Or visa versa…if you cannot close one deal, maybe I can for you…we’ll go 50/50 on it since it is your client.

Papersource is probably the best place to learn the note business.
Take the free online class, you will learn as much if not more than spending money on seminar programs etc…spend your money learning about marketing.
Finding notes isnt the problem… …finding the good ones are.
Find an experienced broker who knows the biz ( like Nate above) to work with your first few deals.

Thanks for the advice. I did check out Paper Source and i think received some info from them.
If anyone is interested in learning more about how to buy/sell notes, check out http://www.cashsalequickclose.com. They have a GREAT apprenticeship program where they will hold your hand and guide you through your first deal and many more to come.
They don’t have a section on the website to signup for this apprenticeship program, but if you fill out the information on any section and write in the comment box “VERY Interested in the Apprenticeship program,” they will get back to you within 24 hours.
I am doing a couple deals with them and it is working for me, and I don’t know too much about notes or real estate!!
I would encourage everybody that doesn’t know too much about real estate or notes to get the mentorship program that CashSaleQuickClose has to offer … check it out ASAP!!!
Jeet,
I am interested in this note business and have brought a couple courses on it and read the paper source site as well. You stated that in this business people come to you and you do not chase them. How is that possible? Also, how did you get started and did you have a mentor?
I just started my business. But it is hard to find notes for sure. I bought my system through Wes-State mortgage. It does not have more of what Ross Delbys has to offer. But congradualation to you Jeet. Do you advertise your business through news paper?
By the way, Hi everyone. Hopefully, you all will boost my confident on starting my business. I am happy that I have found a forum that does the same thing that I am doing. It will surely help me. Like one of you post your replies, how do you just go and offer your business to the bank?

;D
Dell Investor,
I have a system that works for me, a system that is very efficient and very good at bringing in and filtering leads. This way, I do not waste my time. How did I get started? Well, as far as notes are concerned, I remember really liking the idea and I started to develop a passion for it and doing deals. This way, my energy levels increased and I really really enjoyed what I was doing. And yes, I did have a mentor.
Continued Success,
jeet.
Ka,
Thank you, and no, I do not advertise via newspaper, it isn’t very cost effective. As far as offering my business to the bank, did I say that? In any event, there are ways to do that if that is something you’d be interested in doing. I would talk to a banker over lunch and ask him/her if there is a need of investors to take over delinquent paper, etc.
Any more questions?
Continued Success,
jeet.
so Jeet, how do people know about your business? And I have my system already. Its just a matter of starting it. How do you get people to come to you if you didn’t advertise? Hopefully, my post wasn’t to rude. Jeet, hopefully you won’t mind me asking you question here and there. Because you are more experience than me. I’m a beginner. So I will need your help and by asking you question.

Russ Dalbey is a GREAAAAAAAT start if you trying to learn about it. I highly encourage you to get a coach through the program. It costs a couple grand but he sends it back to you after they help you through your 10 th deal.
How many deals have you done Chrisc. I bought Russ Dulbey’s course. I think it is very informative.
I’m currently doing my first deal. If you have not done the coaching you are really not equipping yourself properly. I thought I could do it without a coach, but you are on a crash course that will only cost you money and time.
I haven’t done the coaching. too costly for me.I then it can be successful with out the coaching.
Email me privately with your contact information. I think I can help you out.
