Becoming a Real Estate Agent

Did you get your license already…if so…I heard that the test is very hard. I am considering taking a course myself just to have the credential. Did you find the test hard?

I don’t think the “test is very hard.” Especially not if you study properly. With enough hard work & study…you could pass any test.

Being an appraiser for more than 5 years…I applied for & was granted a waiver to challenge the RE Brokers exam. I’d completed the required clock hours (120 for my state…3 mandatory classes & 1 elective). I took the exam & passed (good thing…on a challenge you get one chance & if you fail…you must serve the time like everyone else).

I’m now applying for 3 “equivalency certificates” for my Broker’s License in Hawaii. Hopefully…all I’ll have to do is study for the Hawaiian portion of the test, and if I pass…I’ll have a Hawaiian Brokers License. This is known as reciprocity.

All you have to do is study. You can accomplish anything you set your mind to do.

Best of luck,

Can someone tell me the requirements for becoming an agent in Norht Carolina?

Most states have a real estate commission, so just google the name and key words. http://www.ncrec.state.nc.us/applicants/applicants.html
